Soup is one of the world's oldest and most popular dishes, and for good reason! It's easy to make, can be made in large batches, and is a great way to use up leftovers. But what makes soup so special? In my opinion, the best soups are flavorful, hearty, and filling. And of course, they're always delicious!

Today, I want to share with you my all-time favorite soup recipe: Noodle Soup. This soup is incredibly easy to make and can be tailored to your liking. Plus, it's perfect for cold winter days! Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients: 1 pound ground pork 8 cups chicken or beef broth 1 (3-inch) piece fresh gingerroot, peeled and thinly sliced 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 1 cup uncooked wide rice noodles 3 green onions, white and light green parts only, thinly sliced 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Thinly sliced fresh gingerroot (optional) Sesame oil (optional) Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions: In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the pork until browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside. Add the broth, gingerroot, garlic cloves, noodles, pork, green onions, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes or until the noodles are tender. Ladle into bowls and top with fresh gingerroot slices if desired. Drizzle with sesame oil if desired. Serve with lime wedges if desired. Enjoy!

3. The Ultimate Comfort Food: Noodles Soup with Chicken Chips!

Noodles soup with chicken chips is one of the most comforting dishes you will ever eat! This amazing recipe is easy to follow and perfect for a cold winter day.

Ingredients:

1 pound chicken breast, cut into small strips

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cups chicken broth

2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup chopped celery 10 saltine crackers, crushed

Directions: 1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook chicken in oil until browned. 2. Add the broth, noodles, onion, garlic, and pepper. Bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat; simmer for 10-12 minutes or until noodles are tender. 4. Stir in celery and crackers. Cook for 2 minutes longer or until heated through. Serve immediately. This dish pairs perfectly with a side salad and some warm biscuits! Enjoy!

4. Soul-Soothing Noodle Soup with Chicken Chips

This particular recipe for soul-soothing noodle soup with chicken chips will require some prep work, but it will be well worth it in the end. The soup is flavorful and comforting, while the chicken chips provide a nice crunch.

Instructions:

In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the broth, tomatoes, tomato sauce, noodles, parsley, basil, oil, garlic powder and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until the noodles are tender. Stir in the chicken. sprinkle with pepper. Serves 6
